Hi,
DPI was designed to make print, and it does not change image size. If you want to make smaller size you must adjust quality of the image.
High number of DPI allows you to make better print, and low number of quality gives you reduced image size.

I'm trying to get the file size on my pictures smaller. I have tried using the Resizer and find that the file size does not change when I reset the DPI. It seems that I'll take a 2151kb Jpeg 480DPI, 3000 x 4000 photo and reduce it to a 72 DPI or 150 DPI or 300 DPI or 600 DPI all at 90% quality and end up with a 85K file for all of them.

Might I be doing something wrong?

Thanks
