Long ago, I used EditPad and I liked it.
I downloaded a new EditPad Lite now and started using it.
It is very small program and is very fast. Actually its TAB-Pages make it very convenient.

However shortcut stuff doesn’t work on Vista x64.

New Feature
- URI Grabbing function. You are able to grab links from the HTML files.
You may have found a webpage that contains many links with link text and you do not want to copy the texts but links. Just save page as a HTML file and load it into MEMO URI Grabber!
Fixed bug
- When you modify saved documents and select a new document, it showed “File Untitled is modified…” – has been fixed.
Now it shows the document path and name. - When you hit a “Delete” key, it does not happen anything – has been solved. You just need to press “Shift” key when you want to use “Delete” key to delete right side of the cursor. Then it acts as Notepad.
Changes
- Current line color has changed to gray instead of yellow.
This change was necessary, for those who use the “Twilight” or things like dark background and light text, you cannot see the text otherwise. - And some small changes have been made.
Maintenance release and a few changes are made.
I’ve done this, because of BASS file has been updated.

It seems to not load 24Bits audio files. See the picture below.
Start and stop (or pause) with blank keys, can be good, but it just start and restart.
Anyway, it’s a free program.
If you want more advanced features, they have professional version of course.
As I wrote, it did not work at first.
I then changed it this and that … and now it works. I’ll explain how to do.
My system is as follows:
Vista x64
Visual Studio 2008
If you have trouble using the “IEvolution” with windows 7 x64, you should try this too.
- You must copy the “iecore.dll” to the Window\System
(NOT sysWOW64, Nor System32) - In Visual Studio, “Tools -> Choose Toolbox Items” and on “. NET Framework Components” tab, browse “IEvolution2.dll”.
(You can do the same with right-click the Toolbox and select “Choose items …”) - When you open the Demo Project, you must add “references” to IEvolution, and then right-click the project name and select “Properties”, then “Build” tab.
You must change the “Platform Target – Any CPU” to “x86 “.
That’s it!
When you create your own project, you need to make it No.3.
Now everything works!
This way, you can work with the latest version of IEvolution3.12.

The text watermark does not work (tried XP and 7?)
I say:
I make software in XP, and it works on both XP and 7.
Can you check whether you have checked “Insert text” check box in “Output options” and try again if it works.
And he says again:
Yes i have ticked insert text.
I have tried it on 3 different computers with the same problem,text does not get added.
Is there an earlier version i can try please to use on XP or 7?
I think this user wants older version. I wonder why … Unfortunately, I have not.
Older code will not work on updated development environment. That’s why I must update each software. And I do not keep my older software either to save space.
If I write that the program works in XP and 7, then it works.
I actually tested on these operating systems (English and Swedish) before I publish them.
Unfortunately, if it still does not work on your system, I cannot do anything about it.
As you see it, it works Web Resizer Text Watermark on my XP, and it works on 7 as well.
Check the following:
- Tranparency should not be 0 (zero), 0 = Transparent (invisible).
- “Insert Text” check box should be checked.
- If you have a dark photo, choose a light text color. (If you have a bright photo, select a dark text color)
- You have a large photo and the font is very small. It works but not very visible. Choose then larger font.

WebResizer version 1.0.6.2604 has been released!
This is a maintenance release. If you are satisfied with the previous version, you have no reason to upgrade it.
Web Resizer was made to convert and (or) downscale common graphic format such as JPEG, PNG, WMF, TGA and so on… to standard web graphic formats i.e. JPEG and PNG for browsing friendly size.

My “Kaspersky” trial period was over and I have changed my security software to “F-Secure Internet Security”. Then it happened something.
When I would start the program (actually my program), F-Secure showed a message box with the security risk blah blah ..
If your security software prompts you to start or not, let it allow run my software, otherwise you cannot use them at all.
My program has no digital signature. And that’s why security software reacts so.
The digital signature can buy by anyone who has money and UNFORTUNATELY, I cannot afford. Only thing you must do is you have to trust me.
I thought that “TRUST” grows between the parties, like you and me. But now it can be purchased, although there are discounts. Ironically! Ha ha!
By the way!
My program is virus-free and add-ware free so far I know, and they carry no onto prospective threat to your system.
